A SACRED RETURN (Pt. 2)
A Gentle Return to Creativity, Healing and Purpose
(Part 2 of 3 in the Blog Series)
Part Two: Slow Steps Back to Flow
Rebuilding Creativity and Clarity in Midlife
In the last post, I shared what it feels like to be in a frozen season—when stress, midlife transitions, motherhood, and a quiet business can feel like too much to hold.
If you’re still there, that’s okay.
We don’t rush the thawing process.
But when your body, your spirit, and your creative voice start whispering, “I’m ready”—you can take slow steps back to flow.
Step 1: Redefine Progress
We’re taught that progress looks like momentum, deadlines, and metrics.
But in midlife—especially when you’re healing—progress looks different.
Here’s what counts now:
Taking one aligned action even when your energy is low.
Saying no to something that drains you.
Honoring a creative urge even if it doesn’t lead to “productivity”.
Trusting that inner shifts matter just as much as outer ones.
Step 2: Create in Sacred Micro-Moments
You may not have hours to spend on your business or creativity—and that’s okay.
You don’t need more time, you need more intention.
A Simple 3-Day Weekly Rhythm
Monday – Mindful Planning
Set one soul-aligned focus for the week. Just one. Ask, What would feel good to move forward right now?
Wednesday – Create in the Pauses
Carve out 20 minutes to write, make, sketch, connect. (Voice notes while walking count!)
Friday – Reflect and Reset
Ask: What worked? What gave me energy? What can I release?
This rhythm makes space for forward movement without overwhelm.
You are allowed to grow slowly and still be a powerful force.
Step 3: Root Back Into What Matters
When life has been loud, we can lose sight of our “why.”
Before the hustle. Before the noise.
Why did you begin creating or building this goal/project/business?
Take a moment. Close your eyes.
Remember the feeling of:
Offering something that comes from your heart;
Expressing yourself fully;
Helping or inspiring someone else just by being you.
That’s still here.
And it still matters.
Here, is a question to sit with:
A Gentle Journal Prompt:
What’s one soft, true action you can take this week that would support your creative flow?
Write it down. Honor it.
A Note from My Heart to Yours:
If you’ve felt behind or scattered, I promise—you are not late or alone.
You are learning how to build a goal/career/business/create more healing and a life in a whole new way—one that’s led by wisdom, not urgency.
Your pace is sacred.
Your return doesn’t have to look like a leap. It can be a breath. A pause. A whisper of “maybe today.”
In this season of rebuilding, remember:
✨ Tiny actions matter.
✨ Your rhythms get to change.
✨ The woman you’re becoming is worth the time it takes.
This is not about getting “back to normal”—this is about creating something truer, softer, and more sustainable.
Keep listening inward. Your flow is still there. And it’s finding its way back to you.
